How to Ensure Emails from polinsys.ca, cigap.ca, and myar.me Don’t Go to Spam
1. For Gmail Users
Steps to Whitelist an Email:
- Check Spam Folder:
Go to your spam folder, and if you find emails from these domains, click “Not Spam” to move them to your inbox. - Create a Filter:
- Open Gmail and click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner to access Settings.
- Go to Filters and Blocked Addresses > Create a New Filter.
- In the From field, enter the domain, e.g.,
@polinsys.ca,@cigap.ca, or@myar.me. - Click Create Filter.
- Check the box for “Never send it to Spam” and click Create Filter.
- Add to Contacts:
- Add the email addresses associated with these domains to your contacts by clicking on any email from them and selecting “Add to Contacts”.
2. For Outlook/Hotmail Users
Steps to Whitelist an Email:
- Check Junk Folder:
If an email from the domains is in your junk folder, mark it as “Not Junk”. - Add to Safe Senders List:
- Click on the gear icon (top-right corner) > View all Outlook settings.
- Go to Mail > Junk email.
- Under Safe Senders and Domains, click Add and enter
@polinsys.ca,@cigap.ca, and@myar.me. - Click Save.
- Create a Rule:
- Go to Mail > Rules.
- Click Add New Rule.
- Set the condition to filter emails From these domains and set the action to Move to Inbox.
3. For Yahoo Mail Users
Steps to Whitelist an Email:
- Check Spam Folder:
If you see any email from these domains in your spam folder, mark it as “Not Spam”. - Add to Contacts:
- Open an email from these domains and click on the sender’s name.
- Select Add to Contacts.
- Create a Filter:
- Click on the Settings icon > More Settings.
- Go to Filters > Add New Filters.
- Name the filter and enter the email domains, like
@polinsys.ca,@cigap.ca, and@myar.me, in the From field. - Set the action to Move to Inbox and click Save.
4. For Apple Mail (iCloud) Users
Steps to Whitelist an Email:
- Check Junk Folder:
If you find emails from these domains in the Junk folder, select the email and click “Move to Inbox”. - Add to VIP List:
- Open the email and click the sender’s email address.
- Choose Add to VIP from the drop-down menu.
- Create a Rule (Mac Desktop):
- Go to Mail > Preferences.
- Click on Rules > Add Rule.
- Set the condition to filter emails From the domains and set the action to move to your Inbox.
5. For AOL Users
Steps to Whitelist an Email:
- Check Spam Folder:
If you see any emails from these domains in the spam folder, click “Not Spam”. - Add to Contacts:
- Open the email and click on the sender’s name.
- Select Add to Address Book.
- Set Up Filters:
- Click on Options > Mail Settings.
- Go to Filters and Alerts > Create New Filter.
- Enter the domains in the From field and set the action to Move to Inbox.
6. For Thunderbird Users
Steps to Whitelist an Email:
- Mark as Not Junk:
Open any email from these domains and click Not Junk. - Create a Filter:
- Go to Tools > Message Filters.
- Click New and name the filter.
- Set the condition to From contains the email domains, like
@polinsys.ca,@cigap.ca, or@myar.me. - Set the action to Move to Inbox.
7. For Other Email Clients (General Instructions)
Steps to Whitelist an Email:
- Mark as Not Spam:
Find any emails from the domains in your spam/junk folder and mark them as Not Spam. - Add to Contacts or Safe Senders List:
Most email clients allow you to add the sender’s email to your contacts or safe senders list to prevent future emails from going to spam. - Set Up Filters or Rules:
In the settings or preferences section of your email client, create a filter or rule that directs emails from@polinsys.ca,@cigap.ca, and@myar.meto the inbox.
Additional Tips:
- Check Your Spam Folder Regularly: Even after setting up filters, it’s a good practice to check your spam folder to ensure no important emails are missed.
