Government of the Northwest Territories relaunches Producers' Incentive Program with higher funding

October 6, 2026 · Updated October 13, 2026

Government of the Northwest Territories relaunched the Producers' Incentive Program for film and television, with $15,000/$35,000 caps and $200,000 yearly.

NWT producers now have higher support—up to $15k for pre‑development and $35k for development—with clearer processes, helping projects advance and attract investment. This can mean more opportunities for newcomers, students, workers, employers, and families.

Investment brings jobs, and jobs open current immigration programmes. See if your occupation qualifies with the FREE evaluation: Occupation eligibility (NOC) (https://gloppap.com/evaluate/noc).
