Ontario Immigration Update – OINP Changes Effective July 1, 2025
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has made significant changes to address the province’s labour market needs:
- Employer Portal Launch: The Employer Job Offer streams now follow an employer-led application process. Employers can register their business and job details directly to support applicants.
- Education Requirement Updates: Early childhood educators under NOC 42202 applying to the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream or French-Speaking Skilled Worker (FSSW) stream may now qualify without the minimum education requirement if they are members of the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- In-person Interviews: Employers and applicants may be required to attend in-person interviews as part of the application process.
These Ontario immigration news updates will make the process more efficient for both employers and foreign national applicants.
