Yukon Extends Nurse Signing Bonuses and Exam Fee Reimbursement

The Government of Yukon has extended signing bonuses and exam fee reimbursement for nurses until March 31, 2027, retroactive to April 1, 2025. This initiative is designed to support recruitment and retention of nurses across the territory.
Key details include:
- New nurse practitioners and registered nurses will receive a signing bonus of $7,500.
- New licensed practical nurses will receive a signing bonus of $4,500.
- All bonuses require a 12-month service agreement, with prorated recovery if the term is not fulfilled.
- Exam fee reimbursement is available for new graduates hired into nursing positions with the Government of Yukon.
