This year, 2022, Canada’s PNP programs have done very well considering it is the 5rd month of the year. The provinces picked over 1663 people for possible PNP programs in a month. The PNP program offers Provinces the choice of selecting their own residents. Most funded services for citizens are offered by Provinces to their residents like Health Care and Education.
Even though FSWP and CEC is temporarily stopped, PNP’s have the tendency of being processed because the needs of provinces must be met. Let us discuss the provinces now

Alberta:
Alberta released the results of a draw held through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. The province invited a total of 100 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination on May 19, under the Alberta Express Entry stream. The Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) of lowest ranked candidate who received a Notification of Interest letter was 382
British Columbia:
Through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program, the province invites the top-scoring provincial candidates on a weekly basis. Invited candidates may apply to Express Entry British Columbia, Skills Immigration, Tech stream, Early childhood educators (NOC 4214) and Health care assistants (NOC 3413). These programs are some of the most active in the country.
Manitoba:
Manitoba issues invitations regularly through the following three streams: Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education Stream. Last month, the province held a draw on May 5 issuing a total of 526 Letters of Advice to Apply, of which 48 were sent to candidates who had a valid Express Entry profile and 34 who were invited directly by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative with lowest ranked score of 691. The Province also held a ‘Special Immigration Measure-Ukraine’ draw #4 on May 20 issuing a total of 13 Letters of Advice to Apply.
Prince Edward Island:
Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) draws are prescheduled and held once a month. This year’s schedule was released by the province on January 1. The PEI PNP draw for May was held on May 20 and invited 137 candidates from the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams and 16 from the Business Impact stream.
Quebec:
Quebec Immigration has conducted draws through the Arrima Expression of Interest system. The draw held on May 05 issued invitations to 30 candidates.
Saskatchewan
On May 05, Saskatchewan held a draw inviting a total of 199 candidates. The invitation was issued to 106 candidates under Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) Express Entry and 91 candidates through Occupations In-Demand. Also the same day another draw was held inviting 1 candidate whose current country of residence is Ukraine as a special measure in response to the current conflict.
